CEO and President
Athan Vorilas is the CEO and President of Lighthouse Financial Network, LLC, a firm affiliated with Osaic Wealth, Inc. With a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades, Athan is widely recognized for his leadership, industry insight, and unwavering dedication to advisor development and client success.
He began his financial services career in 1987 as an Advisor with Prudential Preferred Financial Services, quickly ascending to Managing Director of the New York Office. In 2008, driven by a desire to offer greater flexibility and independence to his clients and affiliated advisors, Athan founded Lighthouse Financial Network to align with an independent broker-dealer model.
As CEO, Athan combines deep industry experience with a passion for mentoring financial professionals. He plays a pivotal role in empowering advisors to grow their practices while continuing to build his own successful wealth management business. His personal practice focuses on comprehensive financial planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning strategies, serving clients across the country with a client-first philosophy rooted in understanding each individual's goals and challenges.
Athan is an internationally recognized speaker on leadership and practice development, having presented at premier industry conferences in the U.S., Greece, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Notably, he has served as a Main Platform speaker at Finseca’s annual LAMP conference and played a leading role in launching “GAMA Hellas,” the first European chapter of GAMA International.
His industry service includes leadership roles such as Chairman of the Finseca Foundation, member of the Finseca Board of Directors, and Past President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals – Long Island Chapter. His credentials include FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63, 65 licenses and life insurance licensing.
Athan holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University, where he served for more than a decade on the Frank G. Zarb School of Business Advisory Board. He lives in West Islip, New York, with his wife and two children, and remains actively engaged in his community as a Board Member and Past President of the St. Nicholas Hellenic Community of Babylon, NY.
