Marat is a Certified Financial Planner with Lighthouse Financial Network, LLC and President of Likhtenstein Financial Planning, INC in Brooklyn, NY. Marat got his start in Odessa, Ukraine where he received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Odessa State Polytechnic University in 1982. In 1990, Marat moved to New York. Shortly after, he received his BBA and M.B.A. in Finance and Investments from Baruch College. In 1993, Marat joined John Hancock. Since that time, Marat has worked diligently to continue to educate himself, he has received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College and in 1996 he earned his CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER™ certification.
As an industry veteran for over two decades, Marat has become a specialist in qualified pension planning for professionals and business owners and in retirement planning for families and individuals. He works closely with his clients to create comprehensive Financial Plans. Marat has built his business on aiding his clients to get happy and sound retirement. His service-oriented business has enabled him to keep a relationship of longevity with his clients both locally and around the country.
Marat has been a part of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) for many years. Marat is a Qualifying and Life Member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 20 years achieving Top of the Table status in 2017 and Court of the Table status in 2015, 2017 and 2018. He is an active member and serving in the Board of Trustees of Jewish Center Nachlath Zion, in Brooklyn, NY. Marat lives in Sheepshead Bay with his wife and is the proud father of three grown sons.
