Athan Vorilas is the CEO and President of Lighthouse Financial Network, LLC, a firm affiliated with Osaic Wealth, Inc. With a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades, Athan is widely recognized for his leadership, industry insight, and unwavering dedication to advisor development and client success.
He began his financial services career in 1987 as an Advisor with Prudential Preferred Financial Services, quickly ascending to Managing Director of the New York Office. In 2008, driven by a desire to offer greater flexibility and independence to his clients and affiliated advisors, Athan founded Lighthouse Financial Network to align with an independent broker-dealer model.
As CEO, Athan combines deep industry experience with a passion for mentoring financial professionals. He plays a pivotal role in empowering advisors to grow their practices while continuing to build his own successful wealth management business. His personal practice focuses on comprehensive financial planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning strategies, serving clients across the country with a client-first philosophy rooted in understanding each individual's goals and challenges.
Athan is an internationally recognized speaker on leadership and practice development, having presented at premier industry conferences in the U.S., Greece, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Notably, he has served as a Main Platform speaker at Finseca’s annual LAMP conference and played a leading role in launching “GAMA Hellas,” the first European chapter of GAMA International.
His industry service includes leadership roles such as Chairman of the Finseca Foundation, member of the Finseca Board of Directors, and Past President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals – Long Island Chapter. His credentials include FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63, 65 licenses and life insurance licensing.
Athan holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University, where he served for more than a decade on the Frank G. Zarb School of Business Advisory Board. He lives in West Islip, New York, with his wife and two children, and remains actively engaged in his community as a Board Member and Past President of the St. Nicholas Hellenic Community of Babylon, NY.

Michael received his Certificate in International Business at the University of Copenhagen in 1984 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from SUNY in 1986. From 1986-1988 he earned his CPA while working for the tax department of a New York City CPA firm.
In May of 1989 he joined John Hancock Financial Network, which is currently known as Lighthouse Financial Network, LLC. During his career he has earned the additional designations of CLU, ChFC, and CLTC.
His practice focuses on wealth accumulation strategies during his clients’ working years and distribution strategies during their retirement. These strategies are unique to his clients’ risk tolerance, income tax profile and their overall financial goals and objectives. Insurance counseling with a major emphasis on Long- Term Care Insurance Planning is an integral component of his practice.
In the past Michael has raised money with Team-in-Training for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and has volunteered his time coaching the Half Hollow Hills Little League. Michael founded the Surprise Lake Camp Swim- a- Thon which he is an annual participant. This annual event raises money for underprivileged children and teenagers to experience the joy of nature along with the growth and development that is inherent in a sleep - a - way camp experience.

Gary Frisina began his career in financial services after serving in the Marines. He is a Vietnam War Vet. In 1974 Gary joined John Hancock as a Registered Representative. By 1980 Gary was promoted to Sales Manager and for 12 consecutive years Gary qualified for the Sales Managers Recognition Conference. During this time he also led his team to qualify for the Top 5 in the company.
In 1994 Gary was promoted to the Managing Director of the Eastern Long Island Agency. During this time he led the agency to the Top Agency in the company. In 2002 Gary retired from the agency. However, Gary couldn’t stay away from the business. He later on joined the firm to become Director of Education and Training. In 2015 Gary and three other advisors created Atlantic Advisors, LLC, an independent Producer Group, of which he is the President.
Gary is also a faculty member of the American College. As an instructor he teaches financial representatives various topics such as Estate Conservation, Business Planning, Retirement Planning, Eldercare and Investment Analysis. He is also a New York State CPE instructor.
Gary currently holds his life and health licenses and his series 1, 7, 22, 24 & 66. In 1988, he obtained his CFP, (Certified Financial Planner) designation from Adelphi University. He also has obtained his FSS, (Financial Services Specialist) and his LUTCF, (Life Underwriters Training Counsel Fellowship) designations, from the American College. Gary is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
In his spare time Gary volunteers his time at the American Legion Post in St. James, NY. Gary is married with four children and four Grandchildren.

Juzel earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012, and her B.A. in Psychology from CUNY Queens College in 2009. After law school, Juzel worked for the Office of The Nassau County Attorney in the Municipal Litigation and Torts Bureaus. Thereafter, she went on to work in Kings County Supreme Court in the Commercial Litigation and Foreclosure Division. Juzel joined Lighthouse Financial Network, LLC in 2017 as a compliance associate then obtained certifications to practice as Investment Advisor Representative.
While at Kings County Supreme Court, Juzel decided to focus her efforts towards being an Investment Adviser upon observing multitudes of people end up at the courthouse in dire straits as a result of poor financial planning. Juzel now commits her time to guiding people on how to maintain and secure a healthy financial future. She utilizes her multidimensional background in both the law and financial space to create a truly holistic approach to people’s financial needs.

Bob graduated from NYU with a degree in accounting in 1973 and began a career with the firm of Ernst and Young, at that time the largest firm in New York City. In 1977 he joined David Schwartz in a firm which specialized in accounting, tax, and consulting for General Agents. In 1981 he became the managing partner of the firm. Ramananda has had a long career in banking for nearly 26 years and been associated with banks in India, Dubai and New York. He transitioned to the insurance industry in 1992 and started his career with New York Life Insurance Company. To pursue his career as Sales Manager he then moved to MetLife and MONY Life Insurance Company. He joined John Hancock Financial Network in August 2006 and was promoted to Compliance Director in 2007, the position that he now holds at Lighthouse Financial Network. Ramananda holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from India and Masters in Management qualifications from Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
